This week, Speaker Pelosi marched to Senator McConnell’s office to demand action to #EndGunViolence, joined youth activists from the Butterfly Effect to create awareness of the thousands of immigrant children in detention centers across the U.S. and also came together with colleagues and friends at the Library of Congress to celebrate the return of the AIDS Quilt to San Francisco. On Friday, Speaker Pelosi signed important bipartisan legislation to reaffirm America’s commitment to the rule of law and democracy in Hong Kong in the face of Beijing’s oppression.
