Madam Speaker: A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the U.S. Speaker of the House (March 11–15, 2019)

This week, Speaker Pelosi honored the life of Tibetan voice for peace and top envoy for the Dalai Lama, Lodi Gyari, welcomed Jordanian King Abdullah II and received the yearly Report to the Nation from the Boy Scouts of America. House Democrats continued fighting #ForThePeople by introducing the Equality Act to end discrimination against the LGBTQ community, and signed legislation rejecting the President’s #FakeEmergency.
