Madam Speaker: A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the U.S. Speaker of the House (Feb 3–7, 2020)

This week, Speaker Pelosi convened Congress for the delivery of this year’s State of the Union by President Trump, a manifesto of mistruths. On Wednesday, House Democrats passed the #PROAct which protects America’s workers’ right to join a union. Later in the week, the Speaker also welcomed Venezuela’s interim President Juan Guaidó, and met with LGBTQ advocate, Dan Reynolds.
