“I recalled the moving words inscribed on San Francisco’s Holocaust Memorial: ‘In remembrance is the secret of redemption.’ Let us reflect on that truth as we seek to find redemption in a future of dignity and justice for all. May we never forget the horrors inflicted on so many innocent souls, and may we never relent in our righteous fight to put an end to the scourge of hate.”

“As the proud daughter and sister of two Mayors of Baltimore, I know firsthand the essential duty vested in America’s Mayors. America’s mayors serve as our eyes and ears: hearing their constituents’ concerns every day.”
“Congress proudly stands with the people of Georgia, and we remain unwavering in support of their sovereignty in the face of Russian aggression. In passing the Georgia Support Act, the House reaffirmed America’s opposition to Russia’s illegal occupation of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. This bipartisan legislation authorizes sanctions on those complicit in Russia’s human rights violations against the people of Georgia.”
“Democrats are working to stop Big Oil companies’ outrageous profiteering and price gouging, which is keeping gas prices unfairly high and hurting families across the country.”
