“As the proud daughter and sister of two Mayors of Baltimore, I know firsthand the essential duty vested in America’s Mayors. America’s mayors serve as our eyes and ears: hearing their constituents’ concerns every day.”

In passing the Georgia Support Act, the House reaffirmed America’s opposition to Russia’s illegal occupation of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. This bipartisan legislation authorizes sanctions on those complicit in Russia’s human rights violations against the people of Georgia.”
“Democrats are working to stop Big Oil companies’ outrageous profiteering and price gouging, which is keeping gas prices unfairly high and hurting families across the country.”
