A week in photos: September 20–28, 2017

This week at the Capitol, the Little Lobbyists helped us protect access to health care for millions of Americans by defeating the latest Republican Trumpcare bill. And House Democrats signed a Discharge Petition to bring votes to the floor on the DREAM Act to protect our young DREAMers.

A week after Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands House Democrats held a press conference demanding the Trump administration to move fast and send the supplies that our fellow Americans needed yesterday.

Early this week, the Capitol was filled with joy and hope with the presence of the Little Lobbyists. Their stories of hope are important for the protection of the Affordable Care Act and the millions of Americans whose life depend on it. Watch how the ACA saved Melanie Carrigg‘s life.
